These images will bring back lots of fond memories as to the finals day at the Walnut Tree, when estimated crowds of just over 1,000 spectators turned up to watch some of the best bowling in the North West.
As you can see all programmes were numbered and had the players name on each of them. Also attached to each players programme were a number of raffle tickets. Every player on the finals day also recieved a free meal and a pint of 'Tetleys' courtesy of the sponsors.
A free programme draw also took place on the day as you can see in the top right hand corner of the programme.
(Unfortunately this did not include the players !!)
